This notice explains what personal data we collect through invest-in-energy.com, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect
- Enquiry forms: your name, email, and optionally your company, phone, country, indicative investment range, site details and message.
- Technical data: your IP address and the time of submission, kept to prevent spam and abuse. Our web server also keeps standard access logs for a limited period.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and take steps you request before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site secure and protect it from spam, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal obligations, for example anti-money-laundering checks before any investment (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Who receives it
Only our team and the service providers who host this website and our email. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Our providers process data in the European Union.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted after 24 months. Where a relationship follows, we keep records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
Third-party data
Electricity prices on this site come from the public Elering data API and are fetched by our server. Your browser does not connect to Elering or any other third party when you visit.
